Hi, long time no see~
This month, I think, was when my school semester ended. Which means I got a lot more freedom ^_^
Which I actually really needed. I met Jules's girlfriend, Mars, who was nice. I've been talking a lot to Serena and Megu which has been fun getting to know Serena's girlfriend better. I finally put up my plush hammock (thank you Ciel). I've been redecorating my room even though I plan on moving after this last semester is over.
I'm writing this retroactively so it is a bit difficult to put things in their right order.
I pre-ordered the Saya fumo (the second round, so she won't be here until March). I'm very excited about it. I hesitated on the first run because she was so pricey (to me. A broke student). But then when she got a second run I said 'frig it' and went for it.
Hauuuuuuu~ so cute... taking her home...
What else... what else.... hmmm.. so difficult to thinking...
Me and Ciel have been watching a lot of
The Office, we both loved it as teens but haven't seen it in years and I have never finished it. So that's been fun. Realizing I had a crush on Dwight is very eye-opening. He's still hot btw.
Videogames I have beaten since school ended:
1) Tomodachi Collection
2) Moémon FireRed
3) Hatsune Miku: Project Diva
4) Pokémon: Ultra Violet
5) Magical Drop Pocket
6) Gunbird
7) DonPachi
8) Sailor Moon Super S: Fuwa Fuwa Panic
9) DoDonPachi (J)
10) Puzzle Bobble 3
11) Gunbarich
12) Space Invaders 95: The Attack of Lunar Loonies
13) Wappy Dog
14) Taiko no Tatsujin: Waku Waku Anime Matsuri
15) Taiko: Drum Master
16) Katamari! an AtariAge homebrew for Atari 2600 (
forum thread)
17) Sonic Adventure
I successfully managed to get Ciel to like Sonic now!! We played all of Adventure together. There's still some things I would like to do with it, like trying to get more medals and doing the chao garden.
Random art of how imagine Human! Big the Cat
We also have been going to random stores and things like that to practice going outside. Because I am afraid of outside. It's pretty bad. Lol. But I'm trying. So anyway, at this one store, they have a whole bunch of bootleg plush. Which is kind of annoying, because it's one thing to buy a bootleg plush knowingly and it's another to be sold a bootleg plush at a legit plush pricepoint. Which is what this store is doing. Also they were really rude to us. But the good news is that I got one of the last Wii games there that I have been hunting, which is Fishing Resort. Yeah, it sounds like a shovelware game but it's actually a really cute game. I love fishing games regardless though. I even bought a Wii fishing remote because I find them so fun (this was a while ago). Some of my favorite parts of Sonic Adventure Dreamcast were Big's fishing levels, if that gives you any indication of where my head is at.
But back to my point. At the bootleg store we found Sonic plush so naturally we had to look and see if any were acceptable enough to adopt. Well. They were interesting all right...
30 dollars each, btw
Anyway, that has been a lot of fun. Ciel and I are still making our way through Final Fantasy 9 but I find that I'm not often in the mood. I love all the characters very much and am happy to spin them around in my mind palace, but I guess there is just something about the game that I haven't been exactly in the mood for. I can't put my finger on it though. Hopefully, we finish it by the end of summer vacation. That would be nice. Not that there's really a rush, but I do enjoy finishing Final Fantasy games for the first time because it feels like fufilling my childhood wishes to myself. Plus it makes fanart all the more rewarding. And unlocks a whole new world of Fanfiction and crossovers and you know...
But I think now we are *mostly* caught up, so I will make the page for June and put some of my thoughts and feelings there.
Spoiler alert: I will be discussing Dragon Quest.
