I'm writing this while I am supposed to be in one of my classes. It's a Zoom class. Our professor is making us watch a TED talk and we are discussing a very depressing poetry book. What's the deal with every professor at university always wanting to talk about the saddest literature ever? You can pick anything in the world basically. I mean, even in specific niches like Irish literature you can pick anything provided it is tangentially Irish. Just a minor annoyance. I don't like when people are inconsiderate but it is epidemic in university courses... nobody knows what they are talking about... yadda yadda...
onto the HAPPIER stuff
So we are settled in the house now. It's really not the greatest but we are basically halfway through this semester of school ^^ yayyy!~ One step closer to breaking freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. This Christmas, we are traveling which is going to be really fun. I'll be going to San Francisco to visit Ciel's parents and then going to Virginia to visit Serena and Megu <3
I've been making it a habit to read more so I've been spending each night we can reading a couple chapters out loud to Ciel. It's really nice. If you live with your partner, you should really try it. Reading aloud can improve your vocabulary (big time), it makes you a better, more confident speaker, and it is a really nice bonding moment for you to share. I forget how much I love to read because often I read for school (torture) or I am reading nonfiction (which is great, but you know, not the same sort of expierence). Reading is so important!! I don't bother with modern books because they all suck. Currently we are reading The Phantom of the Opera in the spirit of Halloween. After that, who knows?
If there are typos in this it is because I am having to try and organize my thoughts while this girl talks about the medical industrial complex in another tab.
There is a Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis x Final Fantasy VI crossover happening very soon and I am veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy excited about it!!! We have been getting so many cool costumes lately... all the whining and complaining I do about mobile games.. I take it all back actually because Fun Costumes for characters I love, that is #worthIt.
