Yu-Gi-Oh! has been one of my special interests since I first saw it air on TV : )
I have so many feelings about it....
As a person with Dissociative Identity Disorder, the anime really, really meant something to me.
It felt like representation and something I could finally see myself in : )

Also, so sorry but I exchange the Japanese and the English dub names all the time.
I think they are both canon.
